Youth Arts Program (Ages 5-8)
Engaging unique aspects of their personalities, the participants in the age appropriate Youth Arts Program will form their own theater company. The program includes workshops in acting, storytelling, styles of theater, creative writing, music, and art.
Young Creator’s Workshop (Ages 9-11)
Weaving together acting, music, and art, students will work on age appropriate published theater material. Guided by a director through the actor’s process of preparation and character creation, students delve into monologue and scene work as they rehearse their show.
Young Actors Workshop (Ages 11-15)
Through physical and vocal warm-up, improvisation, acting technique, and scene study, students engage their creative abilities, participate in costume/set design workshops, and develop an original short film project.
4-Week Teen Ensemble (Ages 15-18)
This program integrates acting classes with rigorous training in voice, speech, and movement. Classes include script analysis/scene study, Shakespeare, monologue, on-camera technique, and a guest class. The program culminates in a final performance at Atlantic.
